This is very old painting. And I hesitated a long time, do I show this painting or not… Hope you like it!
I have inspiration from The Vij is a Gothic horror-fantasy movie, based on the novel by Nikolaj Gogol. It is about an evil genie who manipulates the life of a young priest causing him to commit murder and fall in love with a witch.

Wow, this is beautiful! I think this is the first time I've seen you paint people! I can really sense the power in this, especially with the sporadic lightning-like wisps in the sky gives this a very turbid feeling, and it produces a lot of energy! God, the simple things in paintings of yours that really just make it all come together as a masterpiece amaze me, little things like the many colors of the grass, the perspective and ability to paint the water, movement and creating dust storms from simple changes in darkness... It's really breath-taking. I don't think I will ever say this enough, you are a wonderful artist! ^^
