I'm watching the tiny dancer, She spins circles around me, and all eyes fall on her, I can feel her pink leather slippers stepping on me, I know she doesn't mean it, She's too beautiful for me to handle. The crowd stares in awe at the tiny dancer, Every three steps, she slips and falls, Her pink slippers twisting and bringing her to the ground, No one notices, they only cheer, It doesn't take her long to get up and continue her dance. They all love the tiny dancer, I do too, but it makes me feel empty, Her pink slippers are a size too small, And who cares for a forsaken poet, When they can watch the tiny dancer?
